Netball Match
Was a great success and the Mum’s Won 24 – 4. It was a great afternoon and everyone playing and the spectators had lots of fun and lots of laughs. Well done to all those who played! We raised £60 which will go towards the Summer Fayre money to buy new equipment for the children. Thank you to those who came along and supported the two teams.
Summer Fayre
Please come along and support the Nursery on 7th August 10 am – 1pm. Also if you are able to bake some cakes to sell, or donate some prizes to the raffle & tombola, it would be much appreciated. This will be the last event Lisa organises before going on maternity leave.
Mobile Phones
As of July 2010 we have a new procedure where we request you not to answer your mobile phone inside the building so please leave the building if you wish to answer a call. Also any visitors will now not be able to have their mobiles on them, they will need to leave them in the office.

If your child is not attending Nursery or is going to be late in please contact the nursery.

Bank Holiday
Nursery will be closed on August 30th. You will not be charged for this day.
Telephone
It is not always possible to answer the telephone between 12-2pm. Please leave a message on the answer phone and your call will be returned as quickly as possible.
Parking
In the interests of safety would people please abide by parking regulations. If parents are taking their children to the park could they please not leave their cars in the Nursery car park – spaces are very limited.

Nursery uniform
We have children’s T shirts in sizes 2-3yrs, 3-4yr and 4-5yrs. Price £3.75. Please ask a member of staff if interested.
Change of Footwear
Could the Caterpillar, Butterfly and Pre school children please bring a change of footwear to Nursery.
New outdoor area for Babies
If you haven’t already seen the decking area by the baby units, please feel free to go and have a look.

Panto
We have organised a trip to see Jack and the Beanstalk in Pantomime at the Kings Theatre at 2pm on Wednesday 29th December. Excellent seats at the front of the stalls – tickets £12.50 each (adult/child) inc £1 donation to the Nursery (ticket price normally £20). Please put cheque for total amount payable to N DITCHBURN in an envelope with your full name and no of tickets required no later than Friday 10th September.
Advance Notice - Christmas closure 2010
Nursery will close at 1pm Christmas Eve and re open on Tues 4th January 2011. There will be no charge for the closure period
